RV Ice Box Warranty Policy on All Cooling Units
Thank you for considering an RV Ice Box cooling unit
Re-Manufactured Cooling Units for Dometic and Norcold RV Refrigerators
All Units include a two-year warranty
There will be a re-stocking fee of $140 plus freight for any return cooling unit or refusal of
cooling unit. The customer does agree to this policy when ordering a cooling
unit. This policy is effective when the cooling unit is shipped from our
facility.
TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The warranty for
remanufactured ammonia cooling units covers defects for Two (2) year after date
of shipment to original retail customer.
Warranty claims must be made
through RV Ice Box with the warranty serial number sticker
intact. RV Ice Box will replace or repair, at its option any defective cooling unit within
the two (2) year warranty period, provided the defective cooling unit is shipped
to RV Ice Box freight prepaid. If RV Ice Box
receives a cooling unit returned within 30 days of original shipment and finds
the cooling unit to be defective upon bench testing, the customer will be
reimbursed for freight charges. The cooling unit must be returned to RV Ice Box by a commercial freight carrier specified by RV Ice Box.
RV Ice Box is not responsible for damage due to accident,
misuse, or repairs made by unauthorized personnel, or acts of God.
Examples of
conditions not warranted include but are not limited to the following:

Improper installation

Improper operation--
Running the cooling core out of
level.
Applying a heat source not within the
original manufacturer's specifications (please contact us for
heating element wattage).
·
Cooling unit core
alteration
Discharging cooling unit
core (opening valve stem).
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN
LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, OR ADEQUACY FOR ANY PARTICULAR
PURPOSE OR USE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON
THE FACE HEREOF. THE MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER
RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE
